Wireless electricity?!?!

I have heard of this news a few years back that scientists are trying to distribute electricity wirelessly. I told myself that if this happens, it would be a great comfort to us all, but imagine, what if those electrical charges pass through human beings? Would they get electrocuted? hehe just a thought. But as for this news, it seems that they have done it. WIRELESS ELECTRICITY my friends! It is called WiTricity, and according to scientists it exploits simple physics and could be adapted to charge other devices such as laptops. If this comes to reality, imagine there would be no power interruptions after typhoons, no more worries for line maintenance, no more dangers from electric poles toppling down.
